The SaunderLan ELCA Mission Cooperative is an unofficial name that has been suggested for a group of Lutherans who represent what currently includes members from 6 Western Saunders and Lancaster County ELCA Lutheran Churches. Five of the churches represented are currently being served by interim Pastors, AIM's, PMA's and/or Vicars. The pupose of the group is to explore and promote cooperative ministry opportunities among these 6 congregations and any others who would like to join in the process. The group is planning to host some activities to bring Lutherans in Western Saunders and Lancaster Counties and beyond together to discuss possibilities for joint ministry in whatever forms that may be possible. The group is looking into everything from improved communications to multiple point parish associations with the goal of developing a more vital ministry for God's mission in this place in this time.
